RIDGE ESTATE CHARDONNAY
RIDGE VINEYARDS

The Estate is located on the Monte Bello Ridge within the Santa Cruz Mountains upon soils of fractured limestone overlaid with decomposing Franciscan green stone mixed with clay/loam at 1,400-2,000 feet above sea level. The sustainably farmed grapes are hand-harvested before undergoing whole-cluster-press and barrel fermentation. The wine sees full malolactic fermentation and ages in oak, ranging in ages with just under 10% new for 11 months on lees. The wine is left for an additional four months on its lees to settle after assemblage.
