Owner and winemaker Roberto Stucchi describes 2019 as the only semi-hassle-free vintage in the last six years, void of any climatic trauma. He always manages to produce a graceful annata that showcases Sangiovese’s lightness and texture. This vintage shows a bit more density than the previous year. Cardamom and lavender add dimension to pure red cherry and currants. The tannins are layered and chalky, providing an elegant, solid frame. Sapid and salty on the finish.
