The Viura, Malvasia, Sauvignon Blanc comes from proprietary vineyards located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra of the Rioja DOCa, and were planted between 1990 and 2013. The vines grow upon beds of calcareous clay intermixed with gravel. After harvest the grapes see an eight hour cold soak is followed by a temperature-controlled fermentation by indigenous yeast in oak. The wine ages for an addition 2 months in used French oak barrels before release.
