The UV-SL vineyard is named after long-time vineyard manager Ulises Valdez (UV), as well as the location of his home estate on Stoetz Lane (SL). This site belongs to the furthest western bits of the Sonoma Coast, only six miles from the Pacific Ocean all together. This means UV-SL receives a significant amount of maritime influence with classically cool ocean breezes and sunny afternoons. UV-SL was been a project between Aubert and Valdez for the past ten years.
On the palate, the wine is full of back cherries, tart strawberries, fresh pomegranate, and rose oil.
