The 'Terra Alpina' Pinot Bianco is 100% and the fruit hails from selected vineyard sites in northern and central Trentino, combined with estate fruit from Alto Adige. The soils are mostly calcareous with shattered bits of volcanic rock and the vines range in age between 5-50 years. After harvest, the grapes are gently crushed and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks followed by maturation for approximately 4 months on the lees. The wine then ages between 4-6 months before bottling.
Aromatically the wine lifts delicately from the glass with notes of spring flowers, crunchy apples, and crushed stones. On the palate, the wine continues with white stone fruits, almond skins, bright acidity, and a lingering hint of salinity.
