ALOIS LAGEDER CHARDONNAY
ALOIS LAGEDER

The Chardonnay grapes utilized for this bottling mail from sites around Magrè, Cortaccia, Salorno, and Pochi sitting between 230 to 500 meters above sea level, and have the chalky gravel soils that are ideal for growing Chardonnay. The age of the vines ranges between 10-76 years old. After harvesting, the grapes are softly crushed and pressed, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for approximately four months on its lees.

Aromatically the wine is delicately perfumed with notes of peaches, apricots, white flowers, and a hint of salty minerality. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and ever so slightly creamy from the lees contact, with fruity driven flavors.
