2004 Oberto Barolo Brunate DOCG
Andrea Oberto
The newest wine from the Oberto line-up, the Brunate's first vintage was in 2004. The grapes come from a small, sandy soiled
vineyard in La Morra - 0.6 hectares. After a 12 day maceration and fermentation at a temperature of 34 C, the wine is racked,
finishing the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrique. Aging takes place in French oak, wooden casks.
Try with a meat and truffle dish or seasoned cheese. |
