4 Stars
"Generously scented and inviting, with intense fruitcake and spice on a roundly tannic palate. Finishes long and fresh, with well-judged dryness. From 2011"

WINE
2004 Oberto Barolo, D.O.C.G.
Andrea Oberto

This is a blend of four vineyards totaling six acres and located in the communes of La Morra and Barolo. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 24 months in one year old barriques and then six months in bottle. This wine has a floral nose, merging nicely with delicate wood; a soft and elegant taste with just the right hint of tannins. Try with red meats, game and blue and spicy cheeses.
