Gambero Rosso

2 GLASSES
"Deservedly reached the finals thanks to its modern, elegant aromas lifted by a seductive note of liquorice. The well-defined, concentrated body is dazzling, its acidic underpinning tinged with sea salt. This is a young red that is bound to improve with age."

Col del Mondo
Ripe plum and fruit flavors with a certain freshness and nice tannins. Elegant and very well balanced.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION - This wine comes from the Colle del Mondo and the Vigna Atri vineyards, at an altitude of 600 feet. The vines are an average of 25 years old with Southern exposures. The wine undergoes fermentation for 15 days with an additional one week of maceration. It then goes through 100% malolactic fermentation and is aged in French barriques for fourteen months. About 20% of the 225L oak barriques are new; the remaining barrels are two to three years old. |
