2007 Domaine Leflaive Meursault Sous Le Dos d'Ane

"From the Puligny border, this Meursault smells like a handful of tiny, chalky stones. It's completely savory, with the cool feel of a cave. The fruit is there in the sense of citrus and orange blossom, but it's held tight under the influence of oak. There's something honest about the wine that ties it to others from the domaine."
