VINEYARD Vines from a select 1.8 acre block of clone 76 located on the west side of the estate vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills.
VINIFICATION AND AGING Grapes are immediately pressed and placed into two small stainless steel tanks. Fermentation occurs for 3 months at an average temperature of 45°F. Cold fermentation stops the occurrence of malolactic fermentation. Wine remains on lees for 5 months until it is bottled.
