VINEYARD Sourced from the Fields Family vineyard in Mokelumne River AVA, this low lying, delta adjacent, vineyard has extreme diurnals (about 40 degrees).
SOIL Alluvial sands deposited over limestone.
FERMENTATION Fruit is brought in at night, foot trodden, and then fermented outdoors with no additions in stainless steel.
AGING In 2 puncheons and 1 barrique (all used French) for 11 months.
